Standard Membership
A Standard member is a person who has a degree in Engineering, Architecture, or IT from an accredited institution and agrees to abide strictly by the By-Laws of the Tri-State AAAEA and has paid dues for the current year. The term of membership is one year. Membership terminates automatically if a member fails to renew his or her membership within three months of the membership expiration date. The Standard Member shall have the right to vote on all proposals submitted to the membership at large and the right to attend all meetings of the Association. The Standard Member is eligible to hold any office and receive any honor bestowed by the Association. The Standard Member may attend Executive Board meetings at the invitation of an officer of the Executive Board to discuss a specific subject.
 
Associate Membership
An Associate Member is a professional who do not have a degree in Engineering, Architecture, or IT from an accredited institution, but who has expressed and demonstrated interest in the Association and agrees to abide strictly by the By-Laws of the Tri-State AAAEA and has paid dues for the current year. The term of membership is one year. Membership terminates automatically if a member fails to renew his or her membership within three months of the membership expiration date. The Associate Member shall have all the privileges of the Standard Member, including the right to attend and participate in all meetings of the Association, but shall not have the right to vote or hold office.
 
Student Membership
A Student Member is a student who is pursuing studies in the Engineering, Architecture, or IT disciplines and has an interest in participating in the Association. The Student Member shall have all the privileges of the Standard Member, including the right to attend and participate in all meetings of the Association, but shall not have the right to vote or hold office.
 
Corporate Membership
A Corporate Member is an Engineering, Architecture, or IT company which has demonstrated interest in the Association. A Corporate Membership shall comprise up to 4 members. These members shall have all privileges of the Standard Member, including the right to attend and participate in all meetings of the Association, and shall have the right to vote or hold office, subject to the requirements applicable to a Standard Member.
